Danny Weingeist is a managing partner for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors’ energy private equity activities. He is responsible for fund management, investment origination, deal analysis/structuring and ongoing oversight of existing investments in the firm’s energy private equity portfolio. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 1999, Mr. Weingeist was a managing director and principal of Torch Energy Advisors, a Houston-based company that provides capital to the industry as well as specialized outsourcing services, including accounting and financial services, and oil and gas operations. Prior to that, he served as vice president with EnCap Investments and as a reservoir engineer at Exxon Company U.S.A. Mr. Weingeist earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1985 and a Master of Business Administration in 1989 from The University of Texas at Austin.

David Iverson is a managing director for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors’ energy private equity activities. He is responsible for investment origination, deal analysis/structuring, technical due diligence and ongoing oversight of existing investments in the firm’s energy private equity portfolio. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2006, Mr. Iverson was a senior vice president of Netherland, Sewell & Associates, Inc., a Texas-based oil and gas consulting firm that provides a complete range of professional reservoir engineering, geophysical and geological services to the worldwide petroleum industry. Mr. Iverson began his career in the oil and gas industry in 1988 with ARCO Oil & Gas Company and later Vastar Resources, Inc. where he held various reservoir and facilities engineering and corporate finance positions. Mr. Iverson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa in 1988 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston in 1994.

Mark Teshoian is a managing director for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors’ energy private equity activities. He is responsible for investment origination, deal analysis/structuring, financial due diligence/modeling, transaction negotiation and ongoing oversight of existing investments in the firm’s energy private equity portfolio. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2008, Mr. Teshoian was a vice president in the energy investment banking group of Goldman Sachs. Mr. Teshoian began his career in the energy investment banking group of Credit Suisse. Mr. Teshoian has 15 years of transactional experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Teshoian earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Master of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University in 1999.

Jose Bayardo is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of National Oilwell Varco, Inc. (NOV). Prior to joining NOV in 2015, Jose served as Senior Vice President, Resource and Business Development at Continental Resources, Inc. and spent nine years serving in various roles at Complete Production Services, Inc. including Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Prior to joining Complete Production Services, Jose was an investment banker with J.P. Morgan. Mr. Bayardo holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Prior to forming Flywheel Energy, Justin led SCOOP / STACK production and completion operations for Continental Resources as the Vice President of Southern Region Production. Justin began his tenure at Continental in business development, eventually leading the function as a Vice President. At Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse Securities, Justin held investment banking roles, providing strategic and capital markets advisory to clients across the energy industry. A graduate of the US Army Ranger School, Justin began his career as an officer with the 10th Mountain Division. Ultimately attaining the rank of Captain, Justin’s military service includes combat troop leadership in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Justin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Radford University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Prior to joining Flywheel Energy, Greg was a Principal at Owl Rock Capital Partners in New York, where he was a senior member of the originations and investments team focused on sourcing and evaluating credit investments across the energy, services and industrials sectors. Prior to joining Owl Rock, Greg served as the Director of Finance and Head of Capital Markets at American Energy Partners in Oklahoma City. Prior to that, Greg was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Natural Resources Financing Group in New York, providing strategic and capital markets advisory to clients across the energy industry. Greg earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Babson College.
