Owner Account Information
  • When are checks sent out?
    Flywheel revenue checks are generated and mailed or deposited into the account on file by the last business day of each month.
  • I need a to update my address. What should I do?
    • EnergyLink: Please complete a Change of Address form by logging on to our owner portal through EnergyLink. The owner portal can be found at Energy Link Portal, once you log on to their website with your username and password, you then navigate to the Change of Address area.
    • Email: Download and complete: Address Form. Email form to: OwnerRelations@flywheelenergy.com. Please note that all persons named on the account must sign the form.

  • I want to set up direct deposit. What should I do?
    You can elect to receive Direct Deposit by submitting an ACH enrollment form. Additionally, any change in account can be accomplished by downloading and submitting a Direct Deposit Form with the new information. This form is available on the EnergyLink web portal. You may also complete and email the form along with a voided check or bank account verification letter to OwnerRelations@flywheelenergy.com or submit to our mailing address. Please note that all persons named on the account must sign the form. Once all documentation has been submitted, please allow three (3) pay cycles for the changes to be reflected. You will continue to receive a check by mail while we process your request.
    Temporary checks and/or voided checks without a printed account holder name will be rejected automatically
  • I need a copy of my check details. Where should I look?
    If you have not registered with EnergyLink, please follow the prompts to register with EnergyLink. For support, contact help@energylink.com or call (888) 573-3364 . Flywheel Energy does not have access to EnergyLink login information.
  • What is the legal description of my property?
    Flywheel Energy is unable to provide title ownership research. Any information on file with Flywheel Energy would be specific to Flywheel Energy's operated production, which may not be an accurate representation of all your ownership in the area. To obtain the lease of the owned mineral rights, you will need to do your research via the County Clerk’s and/or Tax Accessors office in the County where the interest is owned.
  • Where do I get a blank W9?
    You can download it on our website here: W9 Form. Or from the IRS: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf
Revenue Payments
  • My check is missing or lost, Help!
    Because of increasing USPS delays, please allow 15 business days to contact us about a missing check. Calls or emails sent before the 15th business day of the following month will not be returned.
  • My Check is really old. Can I cash it?
    Flywheel Energy does not automatically void outdated checks. Please contact your local banking institution to inquire about deposting or cashing these checks. If your banking institution refuses the check, please contact owner relations to have it voided and reissued.
  • Why haven't I received a revenue check this year
    Several factors can affect this – such as the amount owed to you being less than $100, delays by your postal delivery provider, your account being in suspense or additional information may be needed to release payment. Due to the current USPS delays, please wait at least 15 business days after the last day of each month before contacting Owner Relations to request a void.
  • I need a 1099
    1099 MISC forms will be mailed to the current address on file at the end of January every year. If you are currently registered to view your Flywheel Energy payment detail online through EnergyLink, you have the capability to also print your 1099 MISC forms. Flywheel Energy is only responsible for 2019 - current reporting. Please contact the former Operator for historical 1099 information.
  • I need a division order to get my funds from the state. Where can I find one?
    Each State has Unclaimed Property laws that require money, property and other assets to be considered abandoned after a period of inactivity usually ranging from 1 to 5 years. Once unclaimed funds reach the dormancy period, unclaimed funds are remitted the State. It is the rightful owner’s responsibility to work directly with the State to receive escheated funds. To locate and collect unclaimed funds, please visit the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA) at www.unclaimed.org.
  • What is minimum suspense?
    Per Arkansas guidelines, we are required to remit an annual royalty payment regardless of the account’s monthly minimum amount of $100.00. If you no longer own this interest or have questions, please contact us at: OwnerRelations@flywheelenergy.com
  • How long does it take for a check to be reissued?
    Payments will be reissued along with your next check. You will not receive a separate check for reissued payments.
  • Why are my checks less and less?

    Several factors can influence your payments each month, including:

    • Fluctuations in prices received and volumes sold due to changing market conditions
    • Normal production declines as wells age
    • Temporary mechanical or operating challenges affecting production
Changes of Ownership
  • I need to transfer the account, where do I start?
    Please see attached the Ownership Change Guide outlining the Arkansas recorded documents required to transfer interest. If the Estate will not be probated in Arkansas, please have a disinterested party (NOT a family member that will receive part of the interest) complete and record the Affidavit of Heirship in the count where the property is located along with any last will and the death certificate. Please read the instructions on the first page carefully. Once the document is recorded in the county where the property is located, please provide us with a stamped copy and a completed W9 form for all new owners. All transfers are typically completed within three (3) pay periods after all required documents are received, depending on the situation.
  • How do I submit documents?

  • I received a check for somone that is deceased. What should I do?
    Please email OwnerRelations@flywheelenergy.com or leave a voicemail at 833-604-8136 so that the check can be voided. Please review the ownership change guide outlining the documents required to begin the transfer process.
  • Do you want to buy my mineral rights?
    Flywheel Energy is not currently purchasing mineral interests. If you wish to sell your interest, we advise you to seek an outside source to do so. If you do sell your interest to another party, please see the Ownership Change Guide below for transfer guidelines.
  • How long does an ownership transfer take?
    Transfers usually take up to three (3) pay cycles from the day that the last document was received, depending on the situation.
  • I have two accounts, how do I combine them into one?
    Combining an account will require transfer documents and will need to go through our transfer process. Please see the ownership change guide that outlines the documents required.
  • I bought land, how do I transfer the account into my name?
    Please see the ownership change guide for a list of documents required to transfer interest. All transfers are typically completed within three (3) pay cycles from the date that the last requested document was received by our office, depending on the situation and documents attached.   • How do I find the value of my land?
    Flywheel Energy does not provide appraisals for leases. However, you may contact a local royalty broker, real estate agent or local bank in the county where the leases are located.
  • I am not getting paid on all my wells!

    Several factors can influence your payments each month, including:

    • Fluctuations in prices received and volumes sold due to changing market conditions
    • Normal production declines as wells age
    • Temporary mechanical or operating challenges affecting production
  • What is my owner number?
    Owner numbers are six (6) digits and are referred to as the ‘Owner No.’ on your physical check copy, or as the ‘Owner’ number on your EnergyLink revenue statement. On 1099s, your owner ID is located under the ‘Account number’ box.
  • How do I get a deed to transfer my property?
    Flywheel Energy does not provide this service. Please contact a local real estate agent to help with recording documents at the courthouse in the county where the property is located.
  • Do I have to submit original documents?
    No, please do not send in original documents as they will not be returned to you.
  • How long is a pay period?
    A pay period is one full accounting month.

  • When can I expect to receive a response to my inquiry from Flywheel Energy?
    All owner inquiries will receive a response in the order they are received. Flywheel Energy attempts to respond to each inquiry within 10 business days; however, response times may vary and exceed such 10-day period depending on the volume of inquiries at any time. We do not have the capacity to answer live calls. Please leave a voicemail with all of the information available to you so that an owner relations team member can look into your inquiry before returning your call or email.
